SPECIALISATION An individual can be pursuing BCA course in the following specialization, in which one can specialize either through MCA or Advanced Diploma Courses, 1 Internet Technologies 2 Animation 3 Network Systems 4 Systems Analysis 5 Programming Language 6 Music and Video Processing 7 Management Information System (MIS) 8 Accounting Application ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA To take admission in BCA 2024, an individual needs to fulfill the following conditions- Students must receive at least a 50% grade in the 10+2 standard from an accredited board in order to be eligible. Students' prior qualifications must be fulfilled to a higher secondary level. Additionally, it states that one of the required core study subjects for students to have completed is computer science or applications. Students with a background in math or computer science who do not have any prior experience in computer science or infotech can still apply. When applying for the course, candidates must ensure that they have successfully finished their 12th grade from a respected board in either the computer or science stream. EXAM PATTERN The CUET 2024 pattern states that the test consists of three stages. Candidates' language skills will be evaluated in the first section using reading comprehension passage questions. The CUET UG is administered for three hours using computer-based testing (CBT). There will be three sections to CUET UG 2024, each containing multiple choice questions (MCQs) with an objective format. The question paper will be in English, with applicants selecting from a list of 12 regional languages. Every question will be worth five marks, and a score will be deducted for a bad response. English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu are the available languages. For students who wish to choose a language other than those included in Section 1A, Section 1B will be optional. Among the languages available are French, Arabic, German, and so on. MARKING SCHEME The best or most appropriate response: Five points (+5) Any noted wrong option will result in a mark deduction of one (-1). Marked for review or unanswered questions receive no point (0). Only those who have marked any of the correct options will receive five marks (+5) if more than one option is determined to be valid. Everyone who attempted the question will receive five marks (+5) if all of the options are determined to be correct. Candidates who attempted a question that is dropped will receive five (+5) marks if none of the answers are determined to be accurate, the question is determined to be incorrect, or neither of these scenarios occurs.
