ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AICTE states that in order to be eligible for an MCA program, a candidate must have completed a BCA, BSc, BCom, or BA degree with mathematics as one of their required disciplines for graduation. Minimum grades needed are 50% to 60% for bachelor's degrees (a CGPA of more than 6/10 is regarded as good); 55% and higher for class 12 degrees. Most of the time, class 10th grades are meaningless. Nationality- Those who wish to take the exam must be citizens of India. Subjects- Candidates must take Mathematics as a required subject on the qualifying exam. Qualifications- Applicants must hold a three-year bachelor's degree that has been approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or the UGC. Appearing- Candidates who are in the last year of their qualifying test and are appearing may also apply. SYLLABUS Semester 1- Introduction in IT, Computer Organization and Architecture, Programming and Data Structure and Introduction to Management Function. Semester 2- Info System Analysis Design and Implementations, Operation Systems, Oral and Wireless Communication and Accounting and Management Control. Semester 3- Data Base Management Systems, Computer Communication Networks, Objects Oriented Analysis and Design and Management Support System. Semester 4- Network Programming, Software Engineering I, Organizational Behavior and Network Lab. There are certain specializations of MCA, it includes, Application Software, System Management, Hardware Technology, Systems Development, Internet, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), Software Development, Networking and Troubleshooting.
