Ad Manoharrao Nanasaheb Deshmukh Arts Science College

Adv. M. N. Deshmukh Arts, Science and Commerce College, Rajur Tal-Akole Dist-Ahmednagar Was established during 1993 by “Satyaniketan” institution, Rajur. Rajur region is economically backward. Even the tribal were not fully aware of higher education. It is because this region is tribal, very remote and hilly and full valleys.

There was not a single college in this area. So, this college was not available. Due to different financial condition and was very low when this college was not available. Due to difference financial condition and poverty, the parent were not able send their children for higher education at other places.

Taking into consideration all these things, Satyaniketan Institution established this college. The main objective behind established Satyaniketan institution was work for adivasis i.e. Girijan and Harijans by non-violent means.

Besides it, to make economic, social and educational development and to create and interest of education in tribal children by running hostels from them. This is being the main object the institution started Nurseries, Day Care Center and hostels, Ashram-Schools, junior college and then senior college for higher Education.
