Deomornoi B Ed College

There is only one Govt. Teaching Training College in Darrang district. Due to lack of adequate facilities, a vast number of Teacher and youths are failing to have requisite training for teaching job.

Keeping in mind to produce perspective and effective youths for teaching job, the people of Deomornoi Area, were searching alternative teacher training institute for Darrang District. For that purpose, under the agies of Mr. Harendra Nath Sarmah, Mr. Mati Ram Saikia, Mr. Uday Bhaskar Sarmah and Dr. Ramesh Goswami a meeting was held on 05/07/1993.
