Platte Valley Bible College was incorporated in 1951 at Scottsbluff, Nebraska. In August 2005, the college was renamed Summit Christian College to more accurately reflect her mission. SCC is determined to be more than a regional college, as she endeavors to broaden her horizons and educate Christian leaders beyond the borders of the Platte Valley.
