Santa Catarina State University, UDESC was founde on 20TH May 1965, by an act of State Government. By the year of 1963 was created the College of Education Science, it was the seed of UDESC, and was also the first undergraduate course of pedagogy in Brazil with the aim of driving the development of Santa Catarina State.
