P M B Gujarati Commerce College Indore

In 1952 this college was established as Commerce and Science Inter College. In 1958 it became a degree College. In 1970 it was divided into 3 independent Colleges such as, Commerce, Science and Arts and Law College. At present, it is one of the best Commerce Colleges of the state. In 2006 NAAC gave B+ grade to this college.

Next visit of NAAC is expected this year. College is affiliated by Devi Ahilya Vishvavidhalaya for Commerce UG and PG Classes. For the personality development of the students in College different creative activities are going on regularly.

The students of the college have won many prizes at local regional and national level in drama, mimes, music and debate etc. under the guidance of experienced teachers . The students of this College have secured positions in the university merit list. 12 Professors are the authors for the text books of various subjects at B.Com and M.Com level.

Total 83 books have been written by these Professors in English as well as in Hindi medium. The college is a recognized research center of DAVV. Nearly 32 thousand books magazines and journals are in the college library. There is a well- equipped computer lab with more than 120 Computers.

There is a well equipped gym also and a big playground named 'Sardar Patel ground'.
