The Institute is a part of technical education complex of Agnel Ashram Fathers who have established Engineering Colleges, Polytechnic and Industrial training Institute in various parts of India. Communidade of Assagao allotted 51000sq.m. of land to Agnel Charities in 1991 in order to establish a technological education hub in North Goa.
