Akhand Anand Arts Commerce College

Akhand Anand Arts & Commerce College is managed by Akhand Anand Vidhya Bhavan Trust, Surat. This trust was established on 10Th October 1983 [Registration No-E/2167 Dt.10-10-1983], by shri Popatlal Moolshankar Vyas.

It was a pleasant co-incident that when honorable ex-home minister, a devoted freedom fighter ,Co-operative leader and a humble social worker, shri Popatlal Vyas visited Ved Road, as a part of his election campaign for the Surat Municipal Corporation’s bye election; he was moved by the backwardness of this area.

He felt that he must do something for this undeveloped area, and after a deep thought, he realized that it was only education that he could transform this area. He followed his inspiration and lightens the lamp of knowledge by starting an institution of education 25 years back. It started its primary and pre-primary section from 1/7/1984 onwards.

It was further extended into its secondary and higher secondary sections in 1986 and 1989 respectively..
