Guru Nanak Group of College of Institutions has a separate air conditioned cafeteria which serves healthy & hygienic food to the students. Cafeteria System contains a variety of modules, which makes cafeteria style serving a snap. With a GNGC cafeteria, the look & the atmosphere it creates is anything but institutional.

The computing resources at the college are provided to be used by staff and students in support of teaching, learning, research and administrative activities. Presently, college is having 100 terminals All the systems in the campus are connected through LAN. For internet, the college is having 2Mbps High Speed Internet Lease Line. Separate internet surfing lab. Secured Wi-fi Campus Network to cover entire campus. Language Lab for enhancing communication skills of the student will be soon operational. Sufficient numbers of printers and photocopier machines are available in various departments and labs. E-Library in the Main Library to access various on-line journals, magazines and news papers. Using latest teaching technology/aids like Interactive White Boards, DLP Projectors etc for better learning experience.

Library

A library can be considered a store – house of knowledge. In dictionaries the word “library” has been defined as “a building or room containing a collection of books”. A library renders a great service to the society. The Central Library of Guru Nanak Group of College is located in the heart of the institution and therefore is easily accessible to the departments, classrooms and hostels. Guru Nanak Group of College has an excellent well equipped centrally air-conditioned library having ever increasing collection and a wide range of books on various topics. The library is the hub of academic life of campus. Our library has self access facility for students and faculty through automated computer software. It also subscribes to 50 International online Journals and Magazines regularly. Library also provides an optional book bank facility for the students.

Sports Facilities

The best possible facilities in terms of modern equipment, spacious playfields and expert coaching staff provide the students with every opportunity to excel in sports and games. Our coaching system also trains the students to develop the traits of leadership, team spirit, co-operation & sportsmanship The institute teams in various sports are encouraged to participate in several State and National Level tournaments. Intra-college tournaments are held in every sports/game. Special coaching camps are also held to train those selected students who show encouraging potential in a sport/game. The Institute organizes hiking/trekking expeditions, excursions and picnics. Our aim is to bring the students closer to nature in her infinite variety and moods To promote student interests in game and sports, the Sports Cell organizes sports meet once a year and different matches and tournaments are held throughout the year. The Campus has facilities for indoor and outdoor sports-TT, carom, volleyball, cricket, and football.

Transport

Guru Nanak Group of College provide transport facility to their students, faculty and staff through a fleet of f deluxe buses connecting almost all major nearby areas of the region. This facility allows not only smooth functioning of the institutions but also helps maintain punctuality. Special student- passes are issued for transport and there is a periodic check on the quality of fleet.
