The School Education Act, which came into force on April 1, 2015, was revised in order to strengthen university governance systems, and this makes possible a prompt and efficient decision-making process. However, to substantiate it, mutual trust-based relations among all members of SUMS are essential.

I will continue to endeavor to conduct (1) university management with a high regard for transparency and fairness, (2) resource allocation based on strategies and evidence, and, as already mentioned (3) university operations based on speedy decision-making. I look forward to having the understanding and cooperation of all university staff.
