Hostel

The hostel(s) are spacious, well ventilated and can accommodate 2 to 3 students in one room. All the hostel rooms are fully furnished with beds, study tables, chairs and inbuilt cupboards and are equipped with ceiling fans, coolers and lights; special facility for air conditioner use on payment basis has been provided. Besides, for all its residents, the Hostel consists of a common dining hall and a common recreation room with a T.V. The Hostel(s) have 24 hours security arrangements with a fully trained Guard at the main entrance and round the clock vigil around the campus. The Hostel(s) have provision for indoor and outdoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Basketball etc. The Hostel(s) also have Mess Committee, Sports Committee, Maintenance Committee and Cultural Committee so that the students get a chance to involve themselves in the smooth functioning of the hostels. The Hostel(s) have a First Aid and Primary health kit for its residents. However, in case of any medical emergency they are immediately taken to the nearest hospital.

The mission of the Library is to acquire, to organize, to utilize and to preserve the information sources and to extend effective and efficient service to the students, research scholars and faculty members of the college. Our library has good collection of books which includes textbooks and reference books authored by prominent Indian and International subject experts. The library house has sufficient and specialised collection of Books, Journals & Non-book materials available in Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Applied Science and Humanities. The library has digital library and DELNET facility providing the fast access of knowledge base to the students, Research Scholars and Academicians. UTC Library is the member of DELNET, so all faculty members and students can access the services of DELNET. The Web address of DELNET online is http://www.delnet.nic.in Book Bank A book bank scheme is implemented to help students to obtain the latest books by depositing a nominal cost once at the starting of their engineering semester. A number of popular journals & periodicals both Indian & foreign have been subscribed for the benefit of all types of readers.
