About University Paris Stud
Officially born December 17, 1970, when the decree establishing the University Paris XI, it was not until autumn 1971 that will be elected by the Council of the University "Paris-Sud" the first President of the establishment.
The university then grouped the Orsay Faculty of Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine of Kremlin Bicetre, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Chatenay-Malabry, the Faculty of Law and Economics at Sceaux and IUT de Cachan, Orsay and Seals. Subsequently, two other components will join the university: the FIUPSO (current Polytech Paris-Sud) and UFR STAPS.
